Customer Service Representative

This job offers a variety of work involving mechanical abilities and handling customer-related issues. Responsibilities include meter turn on and turn off; Reconcile customer complaints pertaining to low water pressure, pit repairs, lawn repairs, or other service-related problems; Collect water quality samples; Replaces water meters; Locate and inspect main and service lines as directed. Investigates water leaks for customers and clients to prevent water loss.


*Additional job duties: Meter reading and rereading per service requests to verify accuracy and verify remote registers to monitor accuracy.

Required Qualifications: Experience in maintenance and repair. Must reside within 30 minute response time and work on-call rotating schedule.

This is a Regular, Full Time, Benefit Eligible position

Maintenance Worker

This job offers a variety of manual and semi-skilled work involving the maintenance and repair relating to a wastewater facility and equipment. Responsibilities include: Assist in collecting and testing of wastewater samples; Assist in operations of wastewater plant; Clean and maintain assigned facilities including office, shop, and grounds; Additional job duties: Will work rotating weekend schedule at water plant as needed.

Required Qualifications: Experience in maintenance and repair or construction.Must reside within 30 minute response time,and work on-call rotating schedule.

Preferred Qualifications: CDL driver's license with airbrake endorsement and Missouri “D” wastewater license, or ability to obtain both licenses within 6 months of employment.

Field Maintenance Mechanic - Public Works

This job offers a variety of manual and semi-skilled work involving the maintenance and repair of water distribution systems, public works facilities and equipment. Responsibilities include: Maintenance and repair work on streets, parks, man holes and/or water wells, water mains, valves, hydrants, boosters, other service lines, and other public works facilities and equipment; Assists in repair of vehicles. Cleans and maintains facilities including buildings and performs grounds work such as yard repairs, mowing, trimming, and painting as directed.

Required Qualifications: Two years of experience in maintenance and repair. Must reside within 30 minute response time and work on-call rotating schedule.

Preferred Qualifications: CDL driver's license with airbrake endorsement and Missouri DSIII license preferred.
