3: Water and Wastewater District Management and Operations

Water and wastewater districts (including those

serving rapidly growing as well as rural areas) come to Alliance

for a total approach to system-wide management and operations.

This includes not only treatment plant and system O&M

but comprehensive financial and business management, from

computerized utility billing and collections to customer service,

long range planning, regulatory coordination, and management

of capital improvement programs. Board members can turn their

focus to “big-picture” issues and allow Alliance to

handle day-to-day operation, personnel, and customer service

duties.
