Maintenance Worker- Wastewater

LOCATION: St.Charles County, MO

Job performs a variety of work related to maintaining wastewater collection systems. Scope of job includes jetting sewer lines, operating TV camera through sewer lines, and line and manhole repair.

Maintenance Worker – Temp/part-time

LOCATION: Bowling Green

Operator/Maintenance Mechanic

LOCATION: Maquoketa, Iowa

This position is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of water and wastewater facilities and related equipment. The work is performed under general supervision, with the ability to perform tasks independently.
Performs a variety of maintenance and repair work in the distribution and/or collection system on mains, valves, hydrants, and service lines; Provides maintenance on wells and/or lift stations, treatment plants, equipment, and buildings; Provides customer service by providing turn on/off, locating lines, and handling customer complaints according to company procedures.

Required Qualifications

Grade 1 Iowa Wastewater license, or ability to obtain through reciprocity; Must reside within 30 minute response time and work on-call rotating schedule.

Human Resources Generalist

LOCATION: Columbia, Missouri

This position offers an intermediate level of human resources functions, including payroll and administrative work, and requires building positive employee relations with all employees. The employee is expected to perform work with minimum supervision, exercising sound judgment and referring unusual problems to the HR Manager.

Focus areas: Hands-on experience in payroll processing including using an in-house software system for data entry all the way through direct deposit and payroll reporting. Other Generalist skills needed are knowledge of benefits, new hire orientation, worker’s compensation and HR clerical work.

Required Qualifications

Three years of human resources experience, including in-house payroll processing with payroll software system, or any equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. Strong knowledge of appropriate business software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite, Access database software, HRIS and automated payroll system.

Water Plant Operator

LOCATION: O'Fallon, MO

This is manual and skilled work assisting in the effective operation of water production facilities to insure production of safe, potable water. Observes flows, chemical feed and effluent quality making changes as directed; Monitors and adjusts water levels, flows, and pressures to meet demand; Insures compliance to federal, state, and local regulations including preparation of necessary reports; Performs minor repairs to process equipment and controls; Collects samples which may include laboratory analysis; Cleans and maintains water production facilities.

This is a Regular, Full Time, Benefit Eligible position.

Preferred Qualifications

MO Water Treatment “C” license

Required Qualifications

Must reside within 30 minute response time and work on-call rotating schedule. 1:30pm - 10pm, 5 days a week.

Maintenance Worker – Wastewater (Part-time)

LOCATION: Bonne Terre, Missouri

This is manual work involving the maintenance and repair relating to wastewater facilities and equipment. Assists or performs a variety of maintenance and repair work on wastewater equipment, vehicles, and tools as needed; Cleans and maintains assigned facilities including office, shop, and grounds; Performs cleaning, painting, yard repairs, mowing, trimming, etc.

This is a Part-Time position, working Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (average 20 hrs per week)

Preferred Qualifications

Electrical and mechanical experience

Required Qualifications

Following six months of employment and job experience, will be responsible for checking wastewater plants on Saturday and Sunday as needed.
