This is manual and skilled work assisting in the effective operation of water production facilities to insure production of safe, potable water. The work is performed under general supervision and requires the ability to perform independently when needed. Operates water production facilities including record keeping and maintenance; observes flows, chemical feed and effluent quality making changes as directed; monitors and adjusts water levels, flows, and pressures to meet demand.
Missouri Class “B” Water Treatment license.

LOCATION: Fayette, MO
The Local Manager I manages the operation and maintenance of the water plant, ensuring that the facility is in compliance with federal, state, local and company regulations. The Local Manager I prepares a draft of the annual budget; controls inventory and the expenditure of budgeted funds to ensure divisional goals are achieved; attends monthly client board meetings; reviews and evaluates the work of all employees; and assures the needs of the client are met regarding contract obligations and the policies set by AWR and the Client.

LOCATION: Ralls County, MO
The Local Manager I supervises and/or participates in the operation and the maintenance of the water and/or wastewater utility, to ensure water and/or wastewater systems are in compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations. The Local Manager assists with the short and long-term planning for the assigned division; the preparation of the annual budget; controls inventory and the expenditure of budgeted funds. The Local Manager also attends and/or facilitates monthly client board meetings as required; assures that the needs of the client are met in compliance with contract obligations; implements policies set by the client. Responsibilities include reviewing and evaluating the work of all employees and maintaining a harmonious and effective working relationship with supervisors, co-workers, clients, representatives from other agencies, vendors, contractors, and the general public.
Missouri “B” level Water Operator and Missouri “C” level Wastewater Treatment certification. Knowledge of water systems, ability to read maps, general computer knowledge. Experience with the startup of a water treatment plant a plus.
High School diploma/GED, one year of specialized training in water/wastewater desired, and seven years of progressively responsible experience in water systems and/or wastewater treatment and distribution systems including at least three years of supervisory experience. LOCATION: Bonne Terre, MO
Performs a variety of maintenance and repair work in the distribution and/or collection system on mains, valves, hydrants, and service lines; provides maintenance on wells and/or lift stations, treatment plants, equipment, and buildings as directed.
Missouri Class “B” Wastewater Treatment License; possess knowledge and experience with waste collection and lift stations.
High School diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, Missouri Class “D” Wastewater Treatment License or the ability to obtain the license within 6 months of employment; strong mechanical and electrical background with process control experience. LOCATION: St. Charles County, MO
Performs maintenance and repair relating to wastewater facilities and equipment. Cleans and maintains assigned facilities including office, shop and grounds; Performs cleaning, painting, yard repairs, mowing, trimming, etc.
